Four generations on St Owen's Street

William Ogleby opened the shop in 1924. Dennis took it over in the sixties, and in 1992 it passed to Chris Ogleby, who owns and runs it today. That makes it the oldest family-run butchers in Hereford.

Our customers get the best of traditional Hereford beef, lamb and pork, from farms around the city. Alongside the fresh counter we make our own sausages, burgers and faggots, and carry cooked meats, pies, pasties, sausage rolls and cheeses.

At the rear of the shop is the freezer centre, with Herefordshire's largest selection of meat for the freezer. Our fresh prices are very competitive, and the freezer packs are better value still.
